Banks, Credit Cards
Banks are usually open from Monday to Friday, from 9.00 am to 5 pm.
The following major credit cards are accepted by most shops in Turkey: Visa, Mastercard, American Express.

Autumn is the perfect time to visit Turkey. Istanbul is particularly beautiful in September/October, with cool weather and lovely autumn days. October weather in Turkey is largely dependent upon the various regional climates. Much of Turkey gets at least some rainfall during October. Visitors to Istanbul should expect precipitation in September/October, but the average temperature remains a mild 13 to 19°C (55 to 66°F). Sea temperatures in Istanbul in October drop to an average of 19°C (66°F).

Medical Services
No vaccination or health certificates are required for international travellers. Health insurance policy is optional.
Pharmacies are usually open from 09:00-19:00. Also one night-pharmacy is available in every district.
In case of accident or illness, ask for an ambulance: 112.

155 for the police.
