Government leaders set to discuss postal sector and sustainable development in Istanbul
Members of the media are cordially invited to attend the Universal Postal Union (UPU) Ministerial Conference, taking place during the 26th Universal Postal Congress at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel and Conference Centre.
Guided by the theme "Delivering Sustainable Development: Connecting Citizens, Businesses and Territories", more than 50 postal ministers from around the world will gather with international organizations to discuss the Post's role in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This is the second time a Ministerial Conference is being hosted at a UPU Congress. Held every four years, the Universal Postal Congress assembles representatives from the 192 member countries of the UPU, the UN specialized agency for postal services and one of the oldest intergovernmental organizations in the world. Hosted by the Republic of Turkey in cooperation with PTT Corporation, the 26th Universal Postal Congress will be a forum for major debates and decisions.
